FAQ about www.curiouspaddler.com's consolidated marine & land weather forecasts, tide predictions, sea state observations and sunrise/sunset forecasts for Vancouver Island regions.

www.curiouspaddler.com is a Quarantine 2020 project. It offers an opinionated trip planning intel mashup and collection of information that Vancouver Island paddlers and water sport enthusiasts may find helpful.

The marine weather mashups distill forecasts and observations from a number of web sources to a succinct report - a one button marine forecast solution for a particular region.    It's intentionally text focussed to maintain functionality when used on mobile devices with poor data connections.    Each mashup is supported by a collection of regional links for weather and sea state related information.

The map is intended as a quick tool for route planning.    Join BC Marine Trails to use their online map with the most up to date information on British Columbia paddling launch sites, campsites, day use areas and emergency pullouts.

The resources page is to share sites and information that I find useful or interesting and aren't always that easy to track down.

Built just for the hell of it using open source software.
